Six years ago, when the disengagement took place and the residents of Gush Katif were uprooted from their homes, many issued severe warnings of what would happen when Gaza would be in Arab hands. Gush Katif Compensation Agreement “Best We Can Do”

The award of NIS 400 million as a final compensation sum to the former residents of Gush Katif is, according to MK Uri Ariel. But while the money will certainly ease some of the burden for the expellees, who have suffered greatly over the past six years, is it really enough?
