Former Gush Katif Residents Join Kibbutz Movement

Former residents of the Gush Katif communities of Kfar Darom and Atzmona have made new lives for themselves on what was Kibbutz Shomriya. They have made the kibbutz flourish, and now they would like to join the Kibbutz Movement, even though the movement’s political views are very different from theirs.

First Nisanit Family Moves into New Home

The Deiboch family, who were expelled from their home in the Gush Katif town of Nisanit, have moved into their new home in the Galilee. The family is living in Bustan Hagalil, to where another 24 families from Nisanit and Dugit are also waiting to move.

New Town for Gush Katif Expellees Shelved

Giving Up Gaza Was a Mistake

When a group of European parliamentarians visited Jerusalem’s Gush Katif Museum, they said that they felt that Israel’s withdrawal had been a mistake, and one German MP even said that Israel should build more in the land, and especially in Judah and Samaria.
