Compensation for Two Grieving Gush Katif Couples

Posted by naomigrossman on July 23, 2009

The Jerusalem Post reports that two couples who formerly resided in Gush Katif will be compensated for the emotional pain and suffering that the transfer of their loved ones’ graves caused. During the Disengagement, the remains of the son of Moshe and Linda Stein, and the late Yisrael Loutati, son of Rachel and Eli Loutati, were among the departed who were transferred from the Gush Katif cemetery to a new resting place in Nitzan. Psychiatric reports revealed that both sets of parents were suffering pathological grief as a result of the transfer and the way it was handled.
