MK Danny Danon has called for the completion of the rehabilitation process of the former residents of Gush Katif. Danon, who heads the Child Rights Committee, was speaking at a meeting about the expellees.

Twelve Yeshiva University students have come to Israel as part of a new initiative between the university and the JNF to help build a community for former residents of Gush Katif in Chalutza. The students are part of the QUEST leadership program.

The Netanyahu government has decided to help non-profit organization JobKatif in its quest to find employment for the former residents of Gush Katif. In the past four years, the organization has found jobs for 1200 people and helped with the opening of 160 small businesses.
