A democracy, surrounded by theocracies and autocracies.

On my last visit to Israel (I’m a 19 year old male from Sydney, Australia) I had the opportunity to visit Ma’ale Adumim (a possible future home for myself?). I felt at home there, safe and as if I were in Israel proper.

I don’t see why the settlements should have to go, if Gush Katif was destroyed, and peace was not reached, how will disengagement from the West Bank be any different?
